Life Looks Better In Spring
Jon Lilygreen is an exceptional natural talent and excels as both a singer and guitarist. He lives for music and is in his element on stage - moving audiences with his amazing voice and gifted musicianship.
“It would be an honor to represent Cyprus this year – Nasos and Melis have written a fantastic track that really could Win Eurovision. The guys helped make my dreams come true when they invited me to perform ‘life looks better in spring’ – I won’t let them down – and I’ll be singing for Cyprus with all my heart!”.
“I also recognize that I need to win the respect and admiration of the Cypriot audience, and I want to say that it’s a huge privilege for me to get that opportunity”.
One of Jon’s main Influences is his father – ‘he would play in the front room when I was a boy and I just loved that simple raw connection with the music’. This raw connection with the music, combined with unparalleled skill is what makes Jon’s performances so enticing for an audience.
On the stage, Jon will be accompanied by the Islanders, a band made up of musicians from Cyprus, Wales, Norway and Scotland. The Islanders is a truly European group, in the true spirit of the competition and they are already attracting interest throughout Europe, especially in Norway, this year’s host nation.
